Sports and Recreation

We're not just about eating, lying on the beach and shopping. There is an abundance of outdoor activities for the avid sportsperson or someone just looking for a little recreation. Do you want to go sport fishing and catch the big one? There are plenty of sport fishing charters captained by people who know the BEST spots to catch fish.
For those of you who know the exhilaration of kayaking out and watching the sun rise or set, there are plenty of beautiful views to see. Whether you like biking, hiking or just a long walk, we have trails and paths to keep everyone active. And of course, we have whale watches! You can't go home without seeing a whale!
If you prefer the land over water there are a number of walking and biking trails, nature preserves and walking tours of the town. And don't forget about the golf. Kennebunk has a beautiful course that is so close to the ocean you taste salt on your tongue while Kennebunkport's golf club is right on the river in a quiet pastoral setting.
