We offer two cottages which were built in 2009. Each cottage contains 600 square feet, has 2 BRs, 3/4 bath, kitchen and LR with cathedral ceiling. One BR has a queen size bed and the second BR has either a queen or a double bed plus a pull out twin bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher and granite countertops. The LR contains small tables, chairs and a pull out queen sofa bed. There are 2 flatscreen TVs in each cottage, with cable and internet.
Each cottage is tastefully decorated by the owner of the antiques shop (Antiques on Nine) next door, one with a nautical theme, the other with a dog theme. Other amenities include outdoor table and chairs and a charcoal grille.
The cottages are located at 79 Western Avenue, Kennebunk; but are situated approximately 250 yards from the road, thus insuring privacy and quiet. The cottages are surrounded by lawn, fields, trees and a well maintained and supervised pitch and putt golf course. 79 Western Ave is located 3/4 mle from Dock Square in the heart of Kennebunkport, and 1 mile from the beach. If you wish to drive to the beach, we provide a complimentary parking pass for your use during your stay.
We are pet friendly, although we need to know the size and breed of your pets and, of course, expect you to supervise and pick up after them. (From June 15 through Labor Day, dogs are allowed on the beaches before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. There are no time restrictions at other times of the year.)
Our rental rate from the Memorial Day through Labor Day is $1,250.00/week- (Saturday to Saturday). While our minimum stay during the Summer is usually 1 week, on occasion, we have availability for less than a full week. The rate is all inclusive, although the State imposes a 7% sales tax on rentals less than 28 days. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, the rates are usually less, depending on the length of stay and time of year.
