Located in a block of 19th-century buildings at the heart of Kennebunk’s historic district, The Brick Store Museum is celebrating its 75th year of preserving and presenting the culture, history and arts of the Kennebunks through exhibitions, public programs and educational opportunities for all ages. An archives center features maps, documents, photographs and genealogical materials for researchers. Appointments are recommended for use of the archives.

The museum is open year-round, Tuesdays-Fridays, 10AM-4:30PM and Saturdays, 10AM-1PM (closed major holidays). Admission is by suggested donation of $5/person.

In 1963, Kennebunk became the first town in Maine to establish an historic district. Examples of Colonial, Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne and Colonial Revival styles are featured. Walking tours of Kennebunk's National Register Historic District depart from the Museum seasonally (typically, May-October) and are $5 per person and free to Brick Store Museum members. Call for times and details. Tours last 60-90 minutes and cover less than a mile on sidewalks and flat terrain.

The Museum welcomes groups and bus tours. Additional programming for groups can be arranged with advance notice.
